Jordan Brand’s newest hybrid model, the Jordan Mars 270, is set to release in a few familiar colorways. This time, however, the new upper is paired with Nike’s Air Max 270 unit for a modern edge. Much like the Legacy 312 sitting before it and the many Spiz’ike toolings that predated it all, fusion silhouettes are making startling return with the Spike Lee’s alter ego, Mars Blackmon, holding true into this generation. Though once again combining icons under their swoosh-adorned flags, Beaverton has taken things in a slightly different direction with its Jordan Mars 270 as they comb the strongest elements of the Air Jordan 1, 4, 5, and 6 then tops it onto the much more modern Air Max 270 sole.
