Part of the Nike Sunburst Pack, the Air Max 97 “Sunburst” reimagines the retro runner with a multi-colored motif that celebrates one of Nike’s heritage logos. Back in 1972, the company wanted to give its apparel line a symmetrical logo, so graphic designers arranged the now-famous Swoosh trademark in a “Sunburst” or “Pinwheel”. This Nike Air Max 97 features a Golden Yellow upper paired with Orange, Red, and Green tones on its wavy overlays. Black textured mudguards atop a White midsole, Yellow Air units, Black and White outsole and the Sunburst logo on the sides, insoles, and outsole completes the design.
