Initially introduced at Coachella 2019, the Virgil Abloh OFF-WHITE x Wmns Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5 “White” sneaker blends off-road running design with streetwear style. One part of a much larger picture, the Off-White x Nike Zoom Terra Kiger 5 expands in a base of neutral white tones, though their accents and aggressive modifications surely make up for any semblance of normality. Volt hits are by and large the most standout of their adjacent features, covering the track spikes that lie underneath the sole unit as well as the rope laces that extend from the vamp over to just right below the tail end of the painted on swoosh. Suede overlays sit in slightly darker hues while midsoles and the barely translucent synthetics blind in comparison. Accented with a retro-themed tongue, printed laces and Abloh’s trademark zip tie, the sneaker is completed with a unique spiked rubber sole.
