The new Nike LeBron 16 “King” is inspired by the African meaning of his name and first poster. This Nike LeBron 16 is a nod to the small forward position, which is part of Nike’s “1 Thru 5” Collection. It features a Red Battleknit upper with leopard print heels that pays homage to a classic Air Zoom Generation ad campaign during his early career. That same photo is used on the insoles, along with Metallic Gold accents on the Swoosh, heel tab, and tongue.
